Seafood Industries should file their bp oil spill claims since they are greatly affected by the Oil Spill incident in 2010. In Florida, there are many people who are dependent on the sea had lost their jobs when the British Petroleum Oil Company made the biggest oil rig accident in the history. It was a tough time for many fishermen, boat owners and seafood restaurants. These people really deserve to get a fair compensation for the oil company.
The government imposed a fishing ban on areas that are found to be affected by oil. Many sea creatures were contaminated and were no longer safe to eat. Fishing industries were paralyzed making businessmen and fishermen lost their source of income. The problem continued to hotels and restaurants. Seafood from other areas has become more expensive. They lost profit because many customers are afraid to order their seafood menu thinking that they were contaminated from the Oil Spill.
